Comberton get back to winning ways with a 6-0 win at Isleham 3rd Mar
Annie Player opened the Scoring on 15 mins after good play from Laura Harding, feeding the ball out to Beki Randell-Bowen who put in a pin point cross for Annie to score. The Isleham Keeper was forced into making some good stops to keep out Comberton out but after pushing out Clara Greed's top corner shot could do nothing as Beki Randell Bowen headed the ball back over her for 2-0. Annie broke though to make it 3 just before half time. The second half saw Clara and Laura add 2 more Goals before Annie completed her hat trick near the end.

Crusaders 1 v 1 Hormead Hares 24th Feb
A hard fought game finished with the best result possible. The game started with Hormead showing why they are having such a good season. Quick passes with players running though caused Comberton no end of problems and it was no surprise when Hormead scored after 5 Mins. But as Hormead looked like they might run away with the Match Crusaders defence upped their game, getting to grips with the Hormead pace players and allowing The Comberton forwards to get forward to level with Jade Hills on 22 Mins. The second half swung from end to end, with Annie, Laura and Patsy going close for Comberton, lead by some good running by Clara Greed. At the other end Great work by Lily, Rachel and Ami kept out Hormead with last ditch tackles. Comberton hit the post and Emma Lawrie made a good stop in the Comberton Goal turning a shot onto the bar. Girl of the Match Lilly Jones

Comberton 3 v 0 Cottenham 27th Jan
The Girls went back to 5th place with a 3-0 win in a match much closer than the score suggests. Cottenham badly missing leading scorer Nicole Marsh could have scored in the first minute. They were tharwted by a last ditch tackle by Laura Harding. The deadlock was broken on 20 mins when Annie Player volleyed home the goalies dropkick passed the surprised Keeper. Cottenham looked to have levelled but Emma Lawrie made a great save pushing the ball on to the underside of the bar then seeing it stop in the mud on the line. Comberton almost doubled their lead when Beki forced the Cottenham keeper to make a good save. Comberton went further ahead in the 2nd Half when Annie chasing a long ball forced the defender to score an own Goal. After that Comberton settled down to play some good football adding a 3rd with good inter play from Beki, Jade and Clara setting up Annie for her 2nd, Comberton's 3rd.

Crusaders 0 v 1 St Neots 13th Jan
The Girls were edged out of the Cup by St Neots in a Storming match. With the sound of the Pavillion Alarm ringing in the back ground both teams went on the attack with Clara Greed and Fiona Carter going close and at the other end former Comberton player Heather Birnie was always a threat. With St Neots having the better chances they got the winner with 10 Mins to go.

Comberton 2 v 0 Bishop Stortford 6th Jan
A game played in driving rain saw the girls come out on top with 2 first half goals, the first from Emma logevall a long range shot that skidded past the unsighted keeper, then followed up with a 2nd by Fiona Carter. In the 2nd half as the pitch cut up Stortford rallied. Emma Laurie in the Comberton Goal was called into action to keep a clean sheet. Well done to both teams in the conditions, and those doing the washing.

Crusaders 5 v 3 Waterbeach - Great fight back to secure 3 points
In a Match that swung from end to end the U 13 girls came back from 2-1 down to win 5-3. The Blues started on top with Jade Hills scoring from Fiona Carter's pin point cross, other chances followed notably Beki Randell Bowen, curling a shot from outside the area which the keeper did well to turn onto the bar. Waterbeach hit back with 2 quick Goals but the Match turned when Annie Player forced home Jade Hills Corner, to level the Score.
The second half started off like the first, Beki repeated her long range shot with the keeper making another fine save. The Waterbeach keeper exceled herself again with a flying save to keep out Annie before Fiona Carter broke though to make it 3-2. Again Waterbeach fought back to level, Laura Harding nipped in to put the Girls back in front and as Waterbeach launched an atempt to save the game Laura broke though to Make it 5-3.

Girls lose out in 1-2 thriller to Walden Spirits
The U13 girls lost out 2-1 to Walden Spirits. Despite having to play the match with 10 players they went on the attack and scored after 10 mins. A great run and cross by Jade Hills set up Annie Player for her tenth of the season. Other chances followed for Jade and Annie before Walden hit back with an equalizer. In the second half the game swung from end to end but as it wore on the extra girl told for Walden and they grabbed the winner 5 mins before the end.

Crusaders continue good run with 4-1 cup win v Isleham
Sat 7th Dec, Comberton Crusaders U 13 girls cruised to a 4-1 cup victory against Isleham, after missing countless first half chances. Annie Player scored just before Half-Time then completed a hat-trick with 2 second half goals before Isleham rallied to pull one back. Finally Girl of the match Clara Greed added a fourth from an Emma Logevall Corner.
