Crusaders beat Parkside 2-0 in second round of cup

Knockout Cup Win - Sunday 3rd December
The under 17 won 4-0 away to Ellesmere in the 1st round of the knockout cup. The boys controlled the game in very windy condtions. Two goals in the 1st half came from Tim Hilliyard then Hub Ganguli and 2 more in the second from Johnathan Atkinson and Matimu Manykie. Also 5 months following knee surgery Adam Driver came on to play his first game of the season. Adam's support of the team has been great coming to all their matches since his injury playing against Saffron Walden last season. His team mates and supporters were all delighted to see him back on the pitch.

League Cup Triumph - Sunday 26th November
The under 17 boys played a tightly fought game against Fulbourn in the semi finals of the league cup and came out with a brilliant 1- 0 win to reach the final! Man of the match was Christy Brookes who made three fantastic second half saves. Hub Ganguli scored the winner, but the whole team played well in difficult muddy conditions and their continued wide play, movement and passing and total commitment to win all 50/50 balls gave them a deserved final place.
